Jazz88 offers so much more than a streaming service ever can by connecting you to the world of jazz. With the support of our listeners, we are able to present live events, capturing world-class talent from resident and touring artists, all year long.
Throughout our Fall Drive, we will be sharing selections from our audio archives every weekday at 8:20am and 5:20pm. We will also be airing full concerts on Jazz88 each Saturday of the drive (Oct. 7 & 14) from 7-10pm.
We can’t bring our community these high quality experiences without your support. While you listen to the recording we’re featuring today, consider making a donation to Jazz88 and keep the music going.
The celebrated Jack Brass Band have been playing the music of New Orleans for Minnesota audiences for well over a decade, and the group made it out to the Wayzata waterfront for a JazzClectic pop-up concert on September 8. We’re featuring their show-opening (and show stopping!) rendition of ‘Bourbon Street Parade.” The playersare: Matt Hanzelka (trombone), Zack Lozier (trumpet), Josh May (trumpet), Steve Rogness (trombone), Eric Ebeling (tuba), Reid Kennedy (snare), and Mike Olander (band leader and bass drum). Enjoy! |
