The Twin Town Old Time Music Festival is a new four day event celebrating old time music and dance, including the vibrant old time music and dance culture of the midwest. Taking place April 4th-7th in venues across the Twin Cities, the festival features an action-packed lineup of performances, dances, jams, and hands-on workshops for old time music aficionados, newbies, and everyone in between.
Offerings include workshops on Archiving African American Banjo Players, Harmony Singing, Old Time Fiddle & Guitar, Metis Step Dance, Scandinavian Fiddle Tunes, Mandolin Fundamentals and more to hosted and open jams and dances featuring Appalachian clogging, square dancing, Scandinavian dancing, Cajun two-stepping, and more.
