Finally\, Sounds Of Blackness director Gary Hines says\, “They are super talented\, highly-skilled and gifted musicians\, writers and performers with a unique sound and style.” \nThe band has worked with 3-time Grammy-winning Sounds of Blackness\, PJ Morton of Maroon 5\, Stokley\, and many others. Nunnabove is Cadence\, Mattie\, Bennett\, and Wisdom; four siblings from the Twin-Cities. Here\, they take their influences from funk\, jazz\, rock and neo-soul to generate their own sound and style. Moreover\, they take inspiration from The Purple One to the Gloved One\, The 1975 to Chaka Khan. For these siblings\, family is life and the key to what they create musically. \nAs a featured new artist at Prince’s 2023 Paisley Park Celebration\, they shined the brightest. DESCRIPTION:Dale Alexander at the age of 24 had a rich and varied musical background than many musicians achieve in a lifetime. Studying with prominent musicians such as Marvin Dahlgren and Dr. Reginald Buckner of the University School of Music served to enhance Dale’s unlimited natural musical talent. He was recognized by the University of Wisconsin with a National Jazz Education Award for his outstanding individual performance as a percussionist. By the time he graduated from high school\, he had already performed with the nationally known soul group\, the Temptations.\nIn the ensuing years\, Dale has appeared with virtually every well-known jazz artist in the States. After conquering the drums\, he turned his sights toward the piano studying with Manfredo Fest.\nDale worked as one of the Musical Directors for the Christmas performance from “American Idol on Tour” and is available for national and international engagements. He is also available for both piano and drum lessons in his studio in Chatsworth\, California.\n​In the early 90s\, he was Musical Director for Andiamo’s\, a world class jazz club in Aspen and stayed there until he moved to the Los Angeles area. Dale has performed and recorded with many musical legends like George Benson – Everett Harp – Larry Graham – Harry ‘Sweets’ Edison – Frank Morgan – Billy Eckstine – John Heard Herb Ellis – Phil Upchurch – Eric Burdon (War)- Buddy Miles (Jimmy Hendrix) – Edgar Winter Jimmy Smith – Diane Reeves – Barbara Morrison – Glen Frey – Jimmy Buffet – Billy Taylor – The Temptations – Sheila E – Prince – Andre Cymone – Slash (Guns & Roses) – Jimmy Jam – Terri Lewis – Glen Frey (Eagles) – Robbie Kreiger (The Doors) – Marilyn Manson – John Denver – Motown recording legend Wa Wah Watson.

DESCRIPTION:Sam Miltich is a self-taught jazz guitarist born and raised in the woods of northern Minnesota. Sam burst on to the hot club jazz scene in his teens\, joining Paul Mehling’s Hot Club of San Francisco and touring internationally with the world-renowned Robin Nolan Trio. Sam’s fluid and instinctive sound has graced hundreds of stages\, from small town bars on the Iron Range to New York’s Lincoln Center.\nBeginning in his early twenties\, Sam performed as a duo and toured with Minnesota mandolin master Peter Ostroushko. In 2010\, Sam received a grant to study intensively with Belgian guitar icon Fapy Lafertin and has since then received many more regional and state arts grants to further his musical development and creative projects. In addition to hot club swing and traditional jazz\, Sam’s musical interests include Brazilian choro\, French musette\, Eastern European tamburitza\, and other forms of traditional folk music.\nIn addition to fronting his own band\, the Clearwater Hot Club with his father Matthew Miltich\,
