DESCRIPTION:Spiked! — Table Salt Productions’ perennial holiday favorite — is coming back to the Celtic Junction! \nWhat is Spiked? First-rate music plus sketch comedy\, all mixed up in a sparkling holiday punch! Featuring local music headliners\, Hooley veterans\, and Brave New Workshop alums\, it’s Saturday Night Live meets Mariah Carey … with cocktails! \nKick off the holiday season right\, right after Thanksgiving. Spiked! opens on Friday\, November 28\, and is a perfect night (or afternoon) out for you and all of your out-of-town guests. Work off that turkey dinner with plenty of belly laughs\, plus good old-fashioned hooting and hollering! Rocking holiday songs will get you in the spirit; sweet foreign language carols will tug at your heart; and sketches that take aim at the workplace\, the home — and an exploration of what exactly the family pets are getting up to — will have you rolling in the aisles! \nThis year’s regular cast includes Brave New Workshop alums Jim Robinson\, Katy McEwen\, and Joshua Will plus local sketch comedy and improv favorite Maureen Tubbs\, with music from Dennis Curley (The Explainers\, A Celtic Holiday Hooley\, Country Roads)\, Dorian Chalmers (Church Basement Ladies\, The Mancini Players)\, Natalie Nowytski (Orkestar Bez Ime\, Follow the Firefly)\, Scott Keever (The Sweet Colleens\, solo artist) and Marc Bohn (Tim Sigler\, Jim Stairs Band). \nPLUS  special guest artists Gary Rue and Laura MacKenzie! SUMMARY:Hannah Flowers: The Harp and the Holly
DESCRIPTION:Join Irish harpist and singer Hannah Flowers for the album launch of her new Holiday album “The Harp and the Holly.” Celebrate the warmth and hope of the Christmas season while enjoying an evening of favorite and lesser-known carols and songs from Ireland and the British Isles. Set aside some time as the longest night of the year approaches to slow down and savor a restful evening of music with family and friends. \nThe concert will feature special guests Dáithí Sproule (guitar)\, Stephanie Claussen (harp)\, Carmen Pasquerella (flute)\, and Mattie Snyder (cello). \nHannah Flowers is a singer and harpist from St. Paul\, Minnesota. Classically trained from a young age\, she discovered traditional Irish music as a teenager. Through the years she’s had the opportunity to study with harpists Michael Rooney and Gráinne Hambly while on a Fulbright research award in Ireland. Hannah has been granted many awards for her performances and is a sought-after teacher\, having taught at Somerset Folk Harp Festival\, Huron Harp Festival in Ontario\, the Harp Gathering in Ohio\, and other festivals around the US. \nShe holds a BA in Music and a MA in Irish Traditional Music Performance from Maynooth University in Ireland. Hannah released her second album “Hall-Gate House” in 2022\, and her third album “The Harp and the Holly” in 2025.
