Since 2006, the FLOW Northside Arts Crawl has become both a community celebration and premier art event in North Minneapolis. FLOW is a non-juried, self-guided tour of studios, galleries, theaters and commercial and vacant spaces transformed into open-air arts and cultural presentations over a mile and half of the West Broadway corridor. From b-boys to ballet, graffiti to graphite, rap to rhapsody, fine artist to artisan, practicing to professional, FLOW showcases the great art being made every day on the Northside.
This Saturday, July 29th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., we’ll host music and dance performances on the Jazz88 Stage. Acts include Other Country Ensemble, Hollywood Studio of Dance, Big Surf, Voice of Culture Drum & Dance, art-making activities, interviews and more. Find us at the Jazz88 stage and Youth Village located adjacent to the Capri Theater at 2033 West Broadway Avenue.
The FLOW schedule and map is available here.
