Birds Sing Differently Here

This weekend, the Guthrie Theater presents the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project’s Birds Sing Differently Here. Ten Iraqi-Minnesotan immigrants and refugees will tell their stories in a play in both English and Arabic. The play’s director, Taous Claire Khazem, stopped by the Jazz88 studio to talk about the project. Birds Sing Differently Here is at the Guthrie’s Dowling Studio Friday, Oct. 27 & 28 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, October 29 at 1:00 PM.
