On Friday, April 5th, twelve groups of students at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design competed for money prizes to start a creative venture in the first annual PitchFest! Representatives from the First and Third place teams came to Jazz88 to talk about their winning projects.
Kelsey Maher and her team, Studio Lumo, won first prize for their game and animation studio. Iris Monahan and her team, Badco Press, won third for their printing press. The second prize winners could not attend, but Sela Sol Toys will design toys for neuro-divergent and disabled children.
