Japanese shamisen virtuoso Momokusu Iwata came to Jazz88 Saturday to play for us and talk about his concert Sunday at Sundin Music Hall on the Hamline University campus. Jazz88’s Emily Reese spoke with Momo, his pianist Ayatoshi Oikawa, and his interpreter Momoko Tanno.
