In difficult times, music can be a powerful tool to re-energize the spirit and strengthen community connections.

32nd Street Jazz will be back at Fingal’s Cave, the music venue on the lower level of MetroNOME Brewery in St. Paul, on Friday the 13th of February, performing two special sets of music for the times we are in and the place we believe in.

Music of love and defiance. Originals, jazz classics — including the premiere of our arrangement of “Fables of Faubus” by Charles Mingus, and a repeat performance of “Psalm,” part four of John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme album — plus a few surprises.
