We invite you to sing with us on September 26 2026, at the Minnesota State Sacred Harp Convention!

Location: Olivet Congregational Church, 1850 Iglehart Ave, St Paul, MN 55104
Time: 9:30am to 3:00pm. No need to be there for the entire event; come when you can and leave when you must.

12 PM: Free potluck dinner. (If you’re not able to bring anything, please come anyway and be our guest. There will be plenty of food!–

Sacred Harp, or shape-note, singing is a 200-year-old tradition of singing songs from The Sacred Harp. The notes are written in shapes to aid in sight singing. There’s no rehearsal; singers just sing through one song and go on to the next. Singing is full-throated and powerful.

We are friendly and we welcome new people, so come on over and see what it’s all about!
