RESONANCE: A RELEASE RESIDENCY by David Feily – Sundays in February [at Berlin]

Guitarist & composer David Feily explores how new music comes alive in real time. Across three Sundays in February, live performances coincide with the release of brand-new recordings from one of the Twin Cities’ top guitarists-two singles and an EP, each with a different ensemble. Each show spotlights Feily as a composer, bandleader, guitarist, and improviser, revealing how his own sound takes shape through collaboration.

02.22 – BZ3 Organ Trio

The final week of the residency will celebrate the release of BZ3 Organ Trio’s funk-&-blues original “Pickled Herring,” written by Feily. The single showcases the trio’s ferocious, genre-bending sound and offers a taste of their forthcoming album. This high-energy trio features Brian Ziemniak on Hammond B3 organ and Kevin Washington on drums.
