Stillwater’s Favorite Speakeasy – The Velveteen proudly hosts live music every Saturday starring Debbie Briggs Vintage Jazz.
Featuring duo act: Debbie Briggs on vocals (best known from Debbie Briggs Vintage Jazz, The Good Time Gals, and Debbie Briggs Americana) and Robert Bell on guitar (best known from TC Hot Club, Southside Aces, and DjangoFest). Specializing in Jazz from 1920s-1960s and taking your requests from our extensive song list that includes Jazz, Blues, Americana, Classic Country, Folk, and more! When you are inside, the atmosphere features velvety chairs and candlelit tables, the energy is consistent, and the experience is intimate and immersive. An approach to craft that is deliberate is reflected in signature pours and award-winning cocktails. We round off the evening with small nibbles such as bruschetta crostini and charcuterie platters. This cocktail bar goes at its own speed, which is determined by the music, the conversation, and the sort of mood that you experience the moment you walk in the door. Join us.
