The jazz series at Orchestra Hall presents several concerts a year in the Target Atrium, looking out on Minneapolis’ Nicollet Mall. Local luminaries and visiting national talent comprise the always-evolving Atrium Jazz Ensemble.
The Pioneer Press has called the series “the Twin Cities’ answer to New York’s Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola in Lincoln Center—a smaller, more intimate venue where listeners can enjoy concert hall-quality jazz.”
Our broadcast, in collaboration with the Minnesota Orchestra, consists of an hour of material selected from the two-set concerts, hosted and produced by Jazz88’s program director Travis Ryder. New broadcasts generally debut a week after the live show on Saturday night at 9 p.m.
