The group’s founder, Jorge Gomez, decided to create a quartet from the group for more intimate shows and so they could play smaller venues. Ahead of their upcoming show at the Dakota tonight, pianist Jorge, flutist Fabien Alvarez and percussionist Leo Gonzalez came to Jazz88 to play a couple songs and talk about the gig.
