Will Mick Sterling break the world record?

Drum set

Will Mick Sterling – and hundreds of his closest friends – break a percussion world record on Harriet Island?  Patty Peterson visits about Let There Be Drums, which will bring hundreds of drum kit players together to set a Guinness World Record while playing classic grooves from Aretha Franklin and The Beatles, and raise funds for families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The event is at Harriet Island in St. Paul on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 20. From noon to 4, a variety of presenters will entertain and educate the drumming and general public.  The big event is set for about 6 p.m.  Spectators can attend for free.

All the event details are located here.
