The Poor Nobodys at Jazz88

The septet The Poor Nobodys plays live music to silent films. The weekend of Sept. 22, they played to Charlie Chaplin’s The Immigrant, as part of the grand reopening of the newly expanded Trylon Cinema in South Minneapolis. Four of the seven members came to Jazz88 to perform some of the music they wrote for the film, and to talk about the festivities at Trylon. In attendance were Christopher Duba (mandolin), Chris Hepola (keyboard), Christa Schneider (cello) and Eric Struve (bass).
