It was another great year of music in 2024 and I’ve been along for the ride in heavy doses.

“Thoughts of You”Additionally, as I do try to take in as much live music as I can, here’s a bevy of experiences that really hit as only live music can often do:
The Ravi Coltrane Trio, DJ Shadow, The Kills, Deerhoof, Khruangbin(at the Hollywood Bowl!!), John Scofield, Christian McBride, Herbie Hancock, Marc Ribot’s Jazz Bins, Say She She, Belle & Sebastian, Hiatus Kaiyote, Dweezil Zappa, Marky Ramone, Stevie Wonder, Wilco.
And yes, I did dance on stage at First Avenue with Belle and Sebastian!!! ?
