Minneapolis Public Schools will resume in-person instruction for pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade in February. Gov. Tim Walz announced in December that elementary schools statewide can reopen as soon as Jan. 18.
Superintendent Ed Graff says families have the option to keep children in distance learning. All families must fill out an In-Person/Distance Learning Registration Form on the MPS website.
